Prepare to embark on an exhilarating voyage through the cosmos in Orbital Odyssey! This game catapults you into the cockpit of a small spaceship. Your mission? Harness the raw power of gravity slingshots to propel you towards your grand destination!


How to Play:

Set Your Trajectory - Before you begin your journey, calculate the perfect path to exploit gravity to your advantage. A hint of strategy and foresight goes a long way in this galactic odyssey!

One Click Launch - Once your route is set, a single click of the mouse will launch your spaceship into the unknown.

Adjust and Adapt - The universe is full of surprises! Adapt to the outcomes of your previous launch and fine-tune your approach in the next round to reach your end goal.

  • Mouse – Click to choose the trajectory and launch the spaceship.

Insane game!!

Very cool! I like the mechanics! But I just don’t understand how such a game could be made in 3 hours... Or did I misunderstand something in Jem’s conditions? 😅

Thanks for playing - glad you enjoyed! The jams rules say that you can have multiple people work on the same game, and each person gets their own 3 hours! So we had 3 total people working on it for 3 hours each :)

Yay!!! Such a cool idea! The moving planets were quite a lot harder than any other levels since you can't slightly tweak your trajectory, you have to wing it a lot more. Cool game!! Very well made

Yeah the moving planets ones are a cool idea, but we found that too - it was a bit too unpredictable and you can't slightly tweak (which is the main point of the game!). If we were to remaster this we'd definitely tweak this. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks very much! It was really tough and required alot of pre-planning to execute in time - but we just got it done!

Thanks for the feedback - I totally agree, there's 1 or 2 levels that are super tough - it's a shame we didn't have enough time to fix them!
